BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLAN

The MTT Group has formulated a business continuity plan for the purpose of ensuring the safety of employees and their families and quickly restoring company functions in the event of an emergency such as an earthquake, storm or flood damage, or an epidemic.
As a group, we aim to fulfill our social responsibilities as a company, achieve stable provision of products and services, and earn the trust and satisfaction of not only our customers but also our stakeholders.

MTT Group’s Basic BCP Policy
The Group is formulating a BCP based on the following policies:
Protecting human life
Prioritize the safety of employees and their families
Protecting the trust of our customers
Act with the highest priority on maintaining and improving relationships of trust with customers.
Business continuity
Endeavour to quickly restore business in the event of a disaster and protect employee employment
Local contribution
Contribute to the community and strive to recover as a member of the community after a disaster.

Overview of BCP activities
In order to continue the organizational activities of the MTT Group, we have established a “BCP (Business Continuity Plan) Expert Subcommittee” in which all group companies participate, and are proceeding with advance preparation activities with risks such as earthquakes, storms and floods, and infectious diseases.

The Group selects important operations that will be necessary for business continuity in the event that risks materialize, identifies the resources necessary to execute those important operations, and promotes initiatives and improvements for disaster mitigation and recovery.
Specifically, in order to quickly grasp the situation and work on recovery in the event that the risk materializes, we will determine the initial response process assuming that it occurs during operations and on holidays, and prepare the information necessary for business execution. In addition to these, we have also introduced tools for confirming the safety of employees.
In addition, we are checking the status of BCP initiatives in our supply chain, and have begun considering measures to deal with outsourced manufacturing and material stagnation.
